Your first good prompt

Same AI, two opposite results: it all comes down to how you ask. We start from a lousy prompt, and you add the ingredients that make a good request — the answer improves right before your eyes.

What this teaches you

A good prompt = 4 ingredients

🎯 What + For whom

State the task and the recipient precisely. "An email" isn't enough; "an email to an unhappy customer" steers everything.

🎨 Tone + Format

Specify the style (warm, professional, funny) and the form (3 sentences, a list, a table). You get something ready to use.

Check that you got it

2 quick questions

1. Why does "write some text" give a weak answer?

Right: with no detail, the AI guesses "at the whim of the likely". The more you frame, the better and more useful the answer.

2. Which prompt is best?

Right: what + for whom + tone + format. This prompt leaves almost nothing to chance.

What to remember

  • Vague = weak answer. Precise = useful, ready-to-use answer.
  • 4 ingredients: what · for whom · which tone · which format.
  • You steer the prediction (Module 1) by framing your request.
